Community Housing Engagement
In partnership with the Community Housing Industry Association of WA and Shelter WA, we are pleased to commence our new relationship with the community housing sector through the Community Housing Engagement Plan (Attachment 1).
In the Plan, we agreed to create a Shared Activities Register, managed by a Governance Committee. The Governance Committee’s role will be to discuss and prioritise the topics on the Register. Members will not investigate the topics but will verify that the topics are worth pursuing and call for organisations to form working groups to progress them independently. For more information about the Committee, see the attached Draft Terms of Reference (Attachment 2).
We are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to be a member of this Governance Committee. To ensure adequate representation of the diversity of Providers and stakeholders involved in community housing, the Governance Committee will comprise of up to ten (10) members:
Please email the Community Housing mailbox by COB Friday 29 March 2019 with a short statement outlining why you should be a part of this Committee, and a completed proforma (Attachment 3) to provide us with information to compare applications.
Please distribute this call for EOIs to your networks.
