State Homelessness Strategy

The Department of Communities is leading the development of the 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness – a whole-of-community plan to tackle homelessness in Western Australia.

You are invited to be part of the consultation sessions being held across metro and regional WA.

The sessions seek your thoughts and ideas about how to address homelessness in your local community. Your feedback will play an important role in shaping the Strategy.

We encourage people with first-hand experience of homelessness to participate however, we understand that that this may not be possible. If you or someone you know would still like to share a personal story, please complete the attached consent form with your story about your experience and provide it to the project team via email here

Lived experience is a vital input to this important plan.

If you would like to attend a consultation session, registrations are essential. The attached flyer provides details on how to register.

Please extend this invitation to your networks and to anyone in the broader community who wants to have a say.
